Adequate Hydration Is Absolute Necessity For Optimal Athletic Performance

One of the most dynamic athletes on the world stage has taken a life experience and made it a bold statement.

Wade T. Lightheart began his journey as an athlete in a remote area of Canada where like most Canadian boys his age he threw his heart and soul into the game of hockey. Soon his teenage years came along. His interests changed. His attention shifted. And his sister played a part when she tossed him a magazine showing a picture of a bodybuilder by the name of Troy Zuclotto. He was on the cover surrounded by two gorgeous, bikini-clad, California girls. Now what 15 year old, hormone driven young man is going to look the other way? At that moment, Wade had a vision for the sport he wanted to pursue and pursue it he did.

As he got into serious training, he began reading everything he could about every area of athletic performance—nutrition, body building training regimens and the correct method for reaching athletic goals. He was setting himself up for success. Like Sylvester Stallone’s character, Rocky, he made his own training equipment and trained like he’d never trained before. By the time he got to college, he cranked up his pace. He studied exercise physiology and weight trained endlessly.

Soon, Wade entered his first body building tournament and he was on the road to professional competition. What followed was a room full of awards and trophies and three Canadian national titles.

But a truly defining moment since then has been the one that came last year. Wade developed a relationship with Kangen Water™. He went to three presentations with a demonstration of the machine and the water. He studied and memorized everything he observed and on the third visit, he decided this was something very worthwhile and he bought a device. He thought that this Kangen Water™ just might make a difference in his overall health and perhaps in his athletic performance. And he was right.

After having been retired from professional bodybuilding competition for three years and after buying the Enagic SD501 machine, Wade detected a difference in his overall body condition. Since the Canadian National Championship Body Building Competition was taking place in his hometown of Vancouver, B.C., he decided to try his luck and he entered. Surprising himself like he had never been surprised before, he did the seemingly impossible. He once again, for the 4th time, WON! With only three weeks worth of training he had recaptured the crown of Canadian National Champion and was on his way to the world competition in Greece.

Was it the water? Well, let’s say this. The water helped this conditioned athlete take care of the lactic acid that builds up when working out. He also found that it hydrated his body like no other liquid ever had. So it’s safe to say, it was probably a combination of all the things Wade routinely does to keep himself in shape. But the fact is that had it not been for the water, Wade probably would have never entered the competition at that point in his life. From this, we’ll let you be the judge.
