Bottled Waters Are The Money Reservoir For The Beverage Industry That Is Enhanced With Marketing Finesse That Makes Us Buy

Thirty years ago, bottled water was virtually unknown. Come forward to 2008 and it accounts for more than 29 per cent of all the beverages we buy. It makes sense that in our capitalistic society beverage bottlers will find any way possible to seemingly ‘fortify’ any drink, and in particular water, in order to boost sales.

Today we have “water beverages” enhanced with vitamins, herbs, antioxidants and more. Coca Cola has upped their presence in the ‘water industry’ by buying out VitaminWater. PepsiCo has bought SoBe and Cadbury Schweppes has grabbed up Snapple.

The water ‘Fruit2O Immunity adds vitamins A, C, and E. VitaminWater Defense adds zinc, four B vitamins and vitamin C. SoBe Life Water Shield Your Life adds vitamin E. VitaminWater Defense and SoBe Life Water Shield Your Life carefully delivers 100 calories per bottle making these ‘enhanced waters’ and others like them more than a little acidic.

In a Kangen™ water simple demonstration, it’s easy to see the acidic nature of basic Dassani and basic Aquafina. So what is the beverage industry hoping for? The likelihood that they won’t be found out about their deceive + defraud business practices. For me, the real eye opener was when Coca Cola actually presented a soda product with vitamins added. When tests show that Coke can actually eat through steel pipe, it seems preposterous to believe that a ‘fortified’ soda drink could actually maintain a vitamin content in its acid rich environment and be good for you.

The big question remains. How do we make sense of these water drinks presented in such a way as to have us believe they actually are healthy and nutritious and at some level can take the place of the foods and healthy water our body craves? Answer, “We can’t!”

You are taking the first step toward a healthier future and a healthier you when you read this. Next, get some good nutritional literature and start doing your own research…go online or walk down to your local newsstand for a nutritional publication or the public library for a good book on organic eating and drinking. Whatever you do, learn before you believe. Start comparing water beverages with Kangen™ water and take full advantage of the most healthful water on the planet. Guaranteed, with the consumption of Kangen™ water, your desire for those less healthful beverages will diminish over time until you simply don’t want much of them any more.
