Salmonella And E.Coli Can Be Eradicated…
Can you believe it? It just keeps getting worse.
I was thinking before this latest “tainted food” scare that somehow, some way we as a country and a nation would be looking at better handled produce. Maybe it was because the long and tedious Democratic primary was behind us that I had this unrealistic sense that we would have fewer distractions and a healthier environment with less detours like we experienced this week with our tomato crops. Dreaming wasn’t I? Remember the pharmaceuticals problem from a few weeks ago? How could any of us forget that one? Since we were dealing with parts per trillion there, it seemed to me the salmonella scare, being right in front of us, became more urgent. And remember 2006 when lettuce was contaminated with e.coli?
“Killer” bacteria are far from being a thing of the past. They’re more like a hear and now. Isn’t it time to stop relying on our government to intervene and for us to take matters into our own hands? Did you know that worries over these “killer” bacteria can be virtually eliminated? The peace of mind I have knowing that when I clean my produce—everything from tomatoes to greens to peaches and even grapefruit—gives me no worries about playing Russian Roulette with my health. All it takes is a short lesson in pH and a water demonstration of the SD501 to see what kinds of “things” we are exposed to when eating tap water washed produce. It tells you that this is one of the most important appliances you can have in your kitchen.
This weekend I did a demonstration for my daughter-in-law. When she looked at the cherry tomatoes after a soaking in the strong alkaline water, she looked very carefully and quickly said, “Ick. Are those bugs in there?” Sure enough, yes, there they were. Right in front of her eyes were the dead bugs that had been trapped on the surface of the produce floating around in the residual herbicide and pesticide coating that only the strong alkaline water can pull off. A good news, bad news moment of the most profound kind.
Your moment is here. We consume these chemicals, designed to be waterproof so they aren’t washed off in the rain or irrigation, whenever we pop a grape into our mouth or put a cherry tomato on our salad…even when they have been washed by tap water. You can protect yourself and your family from life-threatening bacteria like salmonella and e.coli and reduce the exposure to carcinogenic chemicals that can alter the cell functioning in your body simply by cleaning your produce in the right kind of water. You need never exposure yourself to another chemical or threatening bacteria again. The time is now to gain peace of mind in the future.
